Just heard from my brother that the snow in California caused our barn to collapse. We had some amazing parties there… Not sure what to do about it… mostly just sad.

I believe cockroaches and rhubarb are the two things that can easily survive a nuclear bomb.
I have so much rhubarb and nothing will stop it from coming up year after year.
I recently learned that if you plant an apple seed, you could get any type of apple tree. A Granny Smith seed will not likely produce a Granny Smith apple tree.
Apple trees are all grafted so as to produce the desired apple variety.
Ha! My job is dependent on so many people to get anything across the finish line. So I love a hands on project where I can plan, start and complete the task with no dependencies.

I do a road trip every year with a Buddy to the Finger lakes. It’s an absolutely beautiful part of the world. We do love Seneca Lake.
