Probably still cheaper than what is to come in the following months. 🤣

Between censoring money transactions and censoring transactions of supposedly pictures being stored on the blockchain, I’ll take the picture censoring.

Of course, this is just my own opinion because to me ordinals are stupid. It is interesting how this situation also reflects the personal preference of people.

I think what people are missing the most is that with the price rise of Bitcoin more and more people will be encouraged to mine as well. Those might (hopefully) choose to mine outside the main pools, and not apply the censoring stuff. Another possible scenario is to have mining happen mostly at a different country, that does not enforce censoring on pool companies.

But what strikes me the most is that people seem to forget that if Bitcoin transactions get censored then it loses a significant property that is part of what makes it such a great asset, which is the “uncensorable” aspect. If the price goes down, that means mining is no longer worth it either, so pools might shrink or stop. In that case, personal, individual, amateur mining will thrive once again, just like in the beginning of Bitcoin.

I just hope for the best on the long run. I’ll be trusting the logic above for the time being.

Wondering how private https://njal.la/ really is. Maybe I'll run something with

them to test. A nostr relay to begin with, perhaps? 👀

I'm wondering if there is such a thing as an encryption program or algorithm

that encrypts two files with a variable password and outputs either one of those

files depending on the password provided. Like if "password1" then the output of

the decryption algorithm would be "file1", and if the password input is

"password2" then the output is "file2" instead. Something like the dynamic of

having multiple passphrases on some software and hardware wallets.

Setting time limit on Twitter and Instagram to use other apps/networks more.

Pior é que o perdedor assinou o nome. Não dá nem pra falar que estava embriagado e que lhe “roubaram” a digital. 🤣

As is with most disruptive technology, most of us are not able to see what a wonderful thing this is yet. Some day we’ll probably be saying “back in my time we had just a few apps, we fought platform censorship.”

What a time to be alive indeed. nostr:note15utx6js2mjqk6c704nghdrfpumra4svchn8x4z6vpy42ekrx8u8qlq08lv

Bem-vindos!

So Twitter is blowing up, Threads doesn’t have legs yet. And Nostr keeps growing, I suppose?

Amazed at how much paperwork you need to get in a hospital.

Thinking about getting a mini computer like an old Mac Mini to set up as home server and host some things like a Lightning Node and/or Nostr relay. Wondering if that would be possible. Might need to get a bigger SSD though. 🧐
