Ok, I've finished reading the blog, but this is so British specific, that I can't extrapolate the statements to Hungary (it's my home country). Not the same issues, not the same political system, not the same demography, etc. And I don't know where to put the "policy", so in general.
Btw: the following sentence is general to me (citing from the article): "If we have big issues, then let’s fix them." Wow 🙃
What can we learn from successful policies - Tim Thorlby suggests:
1. Free markets are a fiction; government is a partner for the common good;
2. Long-term change requires cross-party support;
3. Institutions are vital for success;
4. Big changes follow big visions;
5. Big changes start with small changes;
6. Local government *can* deliver transformation.
His argument boils on three cases: the minimum wage; Sure Start; and social investing.

I was unable to get familiar with Primal's UI, so I use Amethyst from the beginning. It is relatively stable (but sometimes getting slower and slower, then lagging).
