Facebook, Reddit, Twitter will all die soon. Why? Because they charge you for YOUR content. You've created Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, etc... why do they charge for YOUR content? There's nothing revolutionary with Facebook, it's just a simple database, nothing else.

That's trivial to create. Your content on the other hand is where the value really is.

And it's incredible that these people are proud of making money with their users content.

It's like the State, they charge you for something that you build.

How do we get more people on Nostr? Anybody in joining a group to work on this? You know, at least just thinking about ways to bring people over.

The real problem is that it's centralized.

I can see that NIP-99 serves exactly this purpose but I don't know how reviews/feedback could be done in such a system. And also does anybody know if there are any clients that have already implemented NIP-99?

And then came Communism and Socialism and it's suddenly a good thing.

These people have convinced the world that stealing is a good a thing. They've created an ideology that legitimizes stealing. Think about that.

It's so depressing to live in Europe right now.

You look around and you say half of the population actively stealing the other half.

Useless EU bullshit funds, people stealing them, everybody works for the State, huge immigration, benefits, violence, hypocrisy. Suicidal laws.

What a mess. What a fucking mess.

Do you guys want to unite, European wide?

I've also looked a bit into El Salvador, Uruguay, and Argentina. I've very interested in moving somewhere like that in the next 5 years.

Nuclear power exposes divisions in the EU

Nuclear power is experiencing a real boom. There are currently 440 reactors in operation worldwide and 60 new ones are being built. This makes it all the more bizarre that the self-declared climate saviors from Germany, of all countries, have abandoned nuclear power and plunged their industry into a veritable recession. Coal-fired power generation is much greener, isn't it Robert Habeck? Neighboring France is now starting to expand its already strong nuclear power sector. Six new nuclear reactors are to be built in the years up to 2050 and the sector expects to create 100,000 jobs. France is mercilessly playing the climate protection card in front of German eyes and is investing in its nuclear power with the argument that it wants to reduce CO2 emissions. Germany, which currently imports energy from all possible sources, is being forced into dependency on France, which exports its cheap nuclear power to Germany, which has failed in other ways. As a result, the balance of power in the eurozone will continue to shift from Berlin to Paris. If we look at fiscal and monetary policy, we can deduce that the eurozone will be increasingly dominated by industrial policy interventionism, less free market economy and more bureaucracy.

Energy: Europe's dilemma

The European Union's dilemma can be illustrated very well using the example of global gas reserves. The continent has no resources worth mentioning, has severely damaged its nuclear sector in the German solo effort and is relatively naked in the energy sector. This is also the background to the strangely bizarre climate policy that the Europeans are trying to impose on the entire world by trying to talk them into their Net Zero corset. The gigantic image and propaganda campaign of the World Economic Forum is only aimed at leveling out this strategic trade disadvantage of the Europeans. The rapid growth of the BRICS countries, the very regions that provide massive deposits of oil and gas, is the answer to the Europeans' attempt at geostrategic dominance.
