I live in San Francisco. Here right now. Cleanup post-pandemic has been gradual. I see nothing special for APEC. Some effort for the holiday season. There is a new skate park that opened in the Civic Center, which is wonderful. Hopefully they will make it into a real sk8er showcase like the one in Barcelona.

In 2017, I bought my nieces Max Wainwright’s book *How To Code* — I know that might seem absurd to some of the geniuses on here— learning to code in a book ☺️ But I always encourage kids to learn coding— even if I don’t personally want to learn. goodbye tokyo, its been a blast 👋

Today is the end of a month long trip spreading the word about nostr: from pacific bitcoin to bitcoin amsterdam, bitcoin indonesia and finally #nostrasia

It was amazing to travel literally around the planet, talking to people about nostr and onboarding many new nostriches. Showing the world this amazing technology is just as important as building, so I am thankful for many of these conferences for flying me out and giving me the opportunity to speak.

I’m looking forward to a regular routine again, I need a conference detox 😅. So much to code, we still need to get the rest of the planet onboard. Let’s get building!

I’m a fan of data and algorithms and studied them via Stanford continuing education and Women Who Code, in order to apply them to our business (primarily a tech product but content, creators and community, too).

Had a girly movie night where I suggested we watch Bridget Jones since nostr:npub18u0kz84lj5tzmgywwdu4mhaa8ghtlednahqyj56kqv408lf9r23qgnlumk got me in the mood for it ☺️ I haven’t seen it since I started in publishing.

I have discovered that we are all just living the pride and prejudice life. We all have a Darcy and a Daniel Cleaver/Mr. Wickham in our lives. I bloody dated one earlier this year! He sounded and acted just like him and was the most self absorbed posh prick I’ve ever dated. Much like Daniel Cleaver he keeps bloody coming back. We were even supposed to go on a city break. I can’t believe I fell for the bastard. Have ignored him, but kind of wish I’d have that ‘kiss my ass’ moment with him. Dated my Daniel Cleaver early though 🙏🏽 silver lining.

The movie is 💯 % accurate.

Work with snobby posh people in publishing who think they are above everyone ✅ (not all of them are like that though 🙏🏽, but a lot are…)

Colleague like Perpetua who hated me until recently where she suddenly seemed to like me 🤷🏽‍♀️✅

Wear inappropriately short skirts and tight tops to work ✅

Feel like an utter idiot almost every day, with evidence to back this up ✅

Self deprecating humour ✅

A mother who’s just… 🤦🏽‍♀️✅

Dating a ridiculously charming guy who cant be trusted and keeps coming back ✅

Going to a multitude of work parties where the only sustenance seemed to be wine ✅

Have amazing friends but can never seem to follow their advice properly ✅

Have no filter and always make a fool of myself in public situations ✅

Am chubby ✅

Have big underwear (and small ones too though) ✅

A bit naive someeeetimes ✅

From a posh village in the countryside ❌ (I’m a city girl from the hood 🤷🏽‍♀️😎)

Run outside in my underwear in the snow ❌ (pyjamas yes, underwear no. There’s still time for that though)

Turns out, I am just a stereotype of a women in publishing in London. Wonderful 🤣🙏🏽
