I really do think I’m the only person on Nostr who has been a working journalist for any length of time, and I speak from that experience. Do you have experience in this area? Happy Thanksgiving
This was a time to be independent, if there ever was one. FWIW, I love California (where I’ve been a resident for 20 years) and Newsom, but when the rules don’t make sense to me, I do my own thing.

Wow. This just gave me massive validation for my solitary lifestyle. I really love being able to get a clear signal and do what I want. This just solidified my desire to be on my own. A Free Press is essential and no country can be first world without fair and balanced journalism holding anyone and everyone accountable.
For sure. There's no ministry of truth in the first world, only in dystopian fantasy, as a warning. If anyone has manipulated online media, it was brief attempts that didn't last. But biased reporting is not the whole truth. The more reputable reporting is filtered to the top. Unreliable subject matter bloggers / vlogger influencers and their sycophantic fans can be ignored by discerning viewers. There's a lot more to say but I need to drink my latte.
