Looking out the window while making my morning tea, thought it was less cloudy than yesterday, so might get in an outside walk before the afternoon storm. Checked weather app to see when they thought the storm would come through (not that they are especially accurate, but in a few hours vs midnight is a decent ballpark to know).
Saw this and decided I can walk inside today, just in case. π―πͺοΈ

Or not β¦ because apparently tube watercolors can separate if you leave them alone for, ah, 2 years. π
After reading some online articles of how this happens, itβs not a big deal, and you can remix the pigment and the arabic gum together again with a paper clip, I got to swatch some reds. π
I have 3 more reds, but want to let these dry before turning the page.
And yes, that cad red pale is way orange, but it had βredβ in the name so I pulled it into this set. Since I listed them in manufacturerβs order in the book, I assume the oranges will fill out the rest of that page. I just wanted to start with red. π΄

Trying out a glove when using Procreate on my iPad. Iβve seen other artist use these, but had put off buying one for myself. The kawaii drawing club Iβve joined recommended this brand. It feels better than I thought it would, and does cut down on unwanted gestures. So far so good. πβοΈ
