It does not work in Amethyst.

They're not being clear in this podcast about the fact that ordinals are completely imaginary thing that has nothing to do with Bitcoin's technical implementation. Where as the pay to script hash or whatever it's called actually is linked to how Bitcoin actually works in its current state.

Also people have been putting other things on the Bitcoin timechain since the beginning; the very first block has the famous newspaper title.

If these scripts are getting block space cheaper than other financial Bitcoin transactions; I will agree that that's stupid.

The multiple ad reads within this particular podcast make me not want to listen to anymore.
