Health insurance and medical billing is a scam.
I've encountered two major complaints throughout two pregnancies -
1. Requesting payments for services not yet rendered
2. The doctor and hospital billing the patient without filing with insurance
Bouncing between these two issues, I have no idea if my deductible will be met before delivering my 2nd child.
I was afraid this would happen. Sigh.

Despite 2020 and the handling of the pandemic destroying our economy, I'm glad more people have decided to become more self sufficient.
Learning to bake bread or starting a garden were sparked by boredom during unnecessary lockdowns.
Fast forward 3 years and homesteading has gained traction. People are concerned about where their food is coming from and if they'll be able to get it.
A wave of concerns over ingredients in our food which I can only imagine with concerns over ingredients in hurriedly made COVID vaccines.
In tandem I've seen a trend in people concerned with the USD. People are seeking reliable forms of payment that the government can't inflate, devalue, or take.
The pandemic truly opened my eyes to these needs. The government can do as they please in a moments notice with the guise of "safety for all."
Patriotism means something different to me now. I used to be a blind follower embracing taxes, accepting war, and trusting my best interest was in mind.
Patriotism is now crusade for a smaller government, self sufficiency, Bitcoin, and clinging to the idea that we can again be the land of the free.
If something is described as a conspiracy theory open your ears and eyes. Tune in.
2020 taught us that we can't trust anything. Especially the media.
I wish more companies had customer service like Chikfila, The Augusta National, Biltmore, & Disney World. I'll add Target to the list too. It's night and day compared to Walmart.
