I'll try it on Monday then. Currently I see it's read-only, so I can't interact or write anything.

Could you please tell me how do the UI modes i.e. Complete, Simplified, Performance in #Amethyst differ?

Does a client push a note to relays after the initial publication? I don't think it does.

So that means at some point, the older notes and other stuff will start to disappear from the internet unless permanent storage is incentivised in some ways.

The question is, how do we do that? Because most of the relays are offering their services for free. For how long they would provide this service for free with the incremental cost of storage? #AskNostr

I just intend to use Telegram as a drop-in replacement for cloud storage, or as an WhatsApp alternative.

Because WhatsApp stores data on phone, which is good for privacy for but bad for data retrieval. As telegram is cloud-based, I can retrieve my data stored in the cloud and access it quickly.

Telegram is bad for organization though. So it's not my permanent storage. I will just use it for storing files quickly.

What do you prefer between "Saved Messages" and "Private Channel" of Telegram for storing personal notes/files/photos?

My pleasure. We're thankful for all the works they are doing.

Okay. I guess no one has it implemented it because it's not a priority.

Most of the clients don't have external funding. Some receive donations. So it's not financially feasible to integrate an AI engine or LLM into a client while bearing this overhead.

Maybe you haven't found your folks here yet.

Try searching with hashtags that resonate with you. Explore trending, global, etc. to see whether you find someone you want to follow. If you find someone, see who he follows, likes, interacts and engages with. This is the way to build your network here on #Nostr.

Not to my knowledge, no.

What do you have in mind? What do you want it for?

What would happen, say, after 10 years or more, someone has accumulated thousands of notes and others stuffs and no relay wants to keep his oldest notes and other stuffs? Because, let's face it, the relays have to pay for the storage and stuffs.

What would happen to those notes and other stuffs? Would they disappear into oblivion?

That's okay. It's not a poor taste, per se. Just how you want it to be. And as the founder, you have every right to name it the way you want it.

I didn't know that's a rule. I just thought it'd be a catchy play on the word reels, as this is what it would be about.

True that. You're not an ice cream. But some people even don't like ice cream.
