Click "People" icon in filter.nostr.wine relay setting make it disabled. You can solve like this. I dont see spam channel message anymore.

Nice, actually those keywords can also be used for keyword filtering in nostr client. Unfortunately, probably most client haven't implement this basic feature yet 😅

I think at least give the user option/feature for "Keyword Filtering", we can control whatever we want to see. I believe this basic feature can be implemented on every Nostr client. :)

Currently, you can zap people by visit the user profile and tap lightning icon in the profile. Not similar like damus on each notes yet.
If you still want to look "Global" while safely out of spam, I'd recommend nostr.wine , they have filter.nostr.wine which includes notes of your friends of friends even if you don't follow them. Nice features to discover more people.

Yes, couldn't agree more. We are still early. These work is one of pioneer in Nostr data. Keep improving, great work you have there :)
Following up with a repo and some results on Nostr spam detection experimentation. It would seem like we can achieve upwards of 98% accuracy.
The dataset is a little targeted, and less generic, however it appears to perform well today. The repo has a README with more details. Happy to experiment and collaborate with anyone interested.
Even if Nostr relays don't filter these events, even embedding an event key of meta.spam_score=0.00 into events they serve would mean clients can choose to ignore it, or set their own score thresholds for event visibility.

Interesting stuff, machine learning for spam detection. Btw, is there any occurance of high false positive in additional data outside the test data? Overfitting case?

Yes, bitcoin mempool were quite full because of "ordinal" transactions.
There is cheaper trick if you want, you can use altcoin (Litecoin, Ripple, etc) as intermediary which have low fee and then exchange it into bitcoin lightning directly into wallet of satoshi using https://fixedfloat.com/

It depends, we can freely setup the relay. I have my relays with mixed setup. Paid relay mostly for read data, and write to all the relay. Paid relay to handle spam. Write to many relays so people still easily discover us.
In Amethyst, i can separate between home feed, global feed easily.
