Omg I think it just started working or maybe I updated the app. It works!

All I see under translations appears to be a way to block all nostr notes except ones in English. Unless the description they use is confused and means to say “automatically convert all notes to English”

How do I activate it?

Nostr needs a translate button like twitter X. I hate missing out on the opinions of people that are potentially very different from me and mine.

Don’t have one yet because my thoughts are: “wow that’s dark, small, and important. I would lose it immediately. Also what if it breaks”

There’s not enough long term support for bitcoin wallet apps. There should be updates every four years. Save all but the security updates and do them once every four years.

The latest annoyance is #getalby and #albywallet … if I hadn’t logged in recently I would have missed that they are sunsetting custodial lightning in favor of offering either self-hosted or cloud versions. It’s cool, but it’s like putting all your Fiat in a bank and then having to check back every couple of months to make sure the bank isn’t going out of business and make sure they aren’t overhauling how they “hold money”

Now come the attacks about how my Fiat isn’t really in the bank and bitcoin is better. Once you get over that argument tell me how I can put bitcoin in a wallet and ignore it for years.

I can’t tell you how many wallets I’ve used that have “updated their recovery method” or something similar and it breaks the whole wallet for me with my “old recovery” info.

Not to mention the calls to fork bitcoin.

I definitely agree with this. I think the plasma vortex is the same basic propulsive principle. Once you get to millions of volts charge on a surface you can’t help but have ionization of the surroundings. In either form, enveloping the craft or a contained plasma vortex within the craft both produce thrust by creating a high energy plasma with millions of volts of electric potential between the craft/engine and surroundings. I think the internal vortex engine would be less stealth and travel slower because the entire-craft-encompassing-version creates a faraday/cooper-pair shielding effect from air/medium friction and allows transmedium flight (possibly up to and including through solids). To the stealth point, we already charge the hulls of conventional craft to produce a plasma across the surface that significantly reduces radar signature.

Years of disinformation, discrediting, mocking, and waiting for the iPhone version of antigravity to come out. I for one always thought string theory was simply mental masterbation since it could never be tested or applied to real life situations. Hearing everyone admit it was a scam to throw off actual antigravity research surprised me more than anything and I think is the biggest clue (besides elizondo saying “wait 5 years” in 2021) that makes me think full antigravity disclosure is right around the corner. The NHI angle is cool from a biology standpoint, and trade, and comparing civilization developmental milestones.
