I think that I fixed the problem that my lightning address was having. I can receive zaps again now that are sent to otilla@getalby.com

Spring is in the air.

Yes, I'm aware that there is a problem with my Alby at the moment. I noticed that a short while ago, haven't fixed it yet. Thanks for letting me know.

I use Zeus as well. What I've found to be most helpful is to figure out where I send most of my LN payments, look at the path it takes, closely inspect the last hop, then open a channel directly to that last-hop node. Then for any future payments to that same destination, you'll likely pay 0-1 sat fee for each Tx.

I used it about a year ago quite a bit. I haven't used it in a while. It was good back then, no idea if it's still good now. Hope it helps.

If you you use Firefox as your browser, you can use Alby's firefox extension to hold your nsec securely. The extension will automatically sign any login stuff for you. It's open-source and works awesome. I would never give another website my nsec. Doing that is only begging for one of them to become nefarious and log/steal/leak your nsec.

I just opened an account on https://satellite.earth by logging in using my npub with getalby firefox extension, purchased the smallest amount of storage by paying 53 sats, uploaded that mp4 and shared the link. It works great and is super cheap.

And just to be clear; I only uploaded that video because it was one that I had saved which was easily accessible. It's clearly a bitcoin FUD video, total BS.

I zapped you 10 sats for your comment.

My Alby firefox extension said the zap was successful.

I don't see the ⚡️ icon on the note on Coracle showing that the note has received any zaps.

Did you receive the 10 sats that I zapped?

Any bitcoin address that you receive bitcoin in is secure against quantum computing as long as you don't spend those UTXOs and then reuse that same bitcoin address to receive additional bitcoin.

Can't zap you. The zap button isn't activated. Using Coracle here. Did you set up your lightning address yet?

npub1upalcp82slrj4yv9kzy37p2nv8nyjte9n7qjga5r6myuev4k28ks8zx054 just zapped me 100 sats that I was not expecting to receive. I want to pass (most of them) on.

I will zap the first 8 replies to this note, 10 sats each.

Follow npub1upalcp82slrj4yv9kzy37p2nv8nyjte9n7qjga5r6myuev4k28ks8zx054 since they are super generous.

Omg. THANK YOU. I was merely commenting my thoughts because I thought someone ought to say Thank You for the giveaway. I saw that 50 people had already been zapped so I was not expecting to get zapped as well. Wow. I'm super appreciative. Really. Thank you, you just made my day.

If you use a password manager to save the private key, you could check the history log on the database entry.

Thank you for doing giveaways like this. I find it so annoying when other people say they will give away sats to a random lucky person.

Zapping comments is awesome since it shows publicly that it's not a rigged giveway.
