It's getting so hard to keep up with technology 😩. I think best practice is to keep your phrase on pen and paper. But now I feel also it might be worth storing different portions on different cold storage devices.

Imo seedsigner is a good option. No dedicated signing device, so less likely to be compromised. Fully air-gapped. Create your own wallets from dice rolls. And with BIP85 you can have multiple wallets derived from one seed.
