We need a satellital #Nostr relay 🛰️
I have successfully run the #LLaMA LLM (from Facebook) locally on my GNU/Linux laptop using llama.cpp and I have achieved better results and performance than what I expected. It was the 7B model and I was also able to run the 13B model. You can expect much better results with larger models!
It is exciting to see progress towards the possibility of a self-hosted #ChatGPT that runs locally.
#StopChatControl
Just created a badge for #Nerostr users! https://nostrgram.co has a great implementation of Nostr #badges. Take a look there!
I made this project for a friend that makes heavy use of these tools. I never worked with Telegram bots, and since I wanted to try, I used Telegram as the interface for this tool! #[0]
I made a #Telegram bot that allows you to interact with OpenAI API at full. It's pretty easy to self-host! With it, you can:
- Generate images with Dall-E
- Chat with ChatGPT
- Transcribe audio messages to text with Whisper
#OpenAI Is Now Everything It Promised Not to Be: Corporate, Closed-Source, and For-Profit
Web-Whisper, the frontend for #OpenAI #Whisper I created, now can use the OpenAI Whisper #API (that was introduced just today!). You can now choose to run whisper 100% locally, or leverage the workload to OpenAI's servers (which are pretty fast) sacrificing privacy as your files will be sent to a 3rd party for processing.
You can now test the #strfry #nerostr relay! Beware, it is not production ready yet!
Check out this issue for more info:
#Nerostr integration with #Strfry is working pretty good! I'll wait until Strfry supports some more NIPs like NIP-04 and then merge to main!
Strfry already working on my development setup with #Nerostr!
Will be working on an update for #nerostr relay. Will be switching the relay over to #strfry.
I hope to be able to put some work today and get it done.
Would really love if #Nostr clients had a plugin system. This way these could be extended a lot, integrating aything users want.
Client maintainers would focus on making the client the best it could be within the basic functionality.
Plugin maintainers would focus on making the plugin do a single thing, and do it very good.
does this work?
I've got a #monero related domain that I want to set something up in it.
Do you have any ideas of something worth building? I'm all ears 👂
