This is Ash. Ash works with me at the dairy and visits me most days. She has just turned 1 and is a very good girl. She’s essentially the real-life embodiment of #Bluey.
Definitely 14/10.

Best thing I’ve read about #food, #farming, #sustainability , and #regenerativeagriculture. Actually, the best thing I’ve read this year. Get it in your eyeballs.

"Are you right, mate?"
Coco expressing her general attitude to existence if not being patted, brushed, sleeping, eating, or eliminating mice, rats, and rabbits.

nostr:npub1xr8gd35szene0r2yvfafr29tjwdedgwd89lnfpmh3pylnygnvd4qmf3q0g one thing that was a bonus when we bought this place was the absolute over-engineering of power outlets. Like 8 in our bedroom and 16 in the lounge. The one place that wasn't specced up was the kitchen. When we renovated it, we made sure that it was remedied.
The 49th Australian #Labor Party Conference begins in Brisbane today. This is your reminder that Labor in 2023 is not the party of the worker, or even generally of the little guy. Rather, it is the party of neoliberalism, pointless centrism, kowtowing to resource extractors and their wealthy mates in industry and business (state capture, who knew!?), and pointing out real and meaningful problems while enacting policies and programs that do little more than circle the drain. They're little different from the Liberals in many aspects.
If you're a Labor supporter you can push them (very slowly with a great deal of resistance and obfuscation) by writing to your local Member or Senator (don't email, put words on actual paper) with your concerns about Labor's weak policy platform on pretty much everything from affordable housing to meaningful action on climate to live export and everything in between.
Alternatively, you can vote for someone not Labor who will represent you honestly. Give Labor a lower preference so they see the shift.
Expect disappointment and meaninglessness from the next three days.
