What the actual fuck. W-2 from work is beyond incorrect. I had a feeling that the 6+ months of paper checks was going to be a headache come tax season. Was I ever right. Me and at least 3 other coworkers have major issues with the information on them. Cherry on top = management nor owners will respond to ANY of our emails, calls, texts, etc.

I always count on taxes to catch up on a few bills I put off for the kids Christmas & my youngest daughters birthday in January.

That isn't going to work this year.

I think it's time to find a new job and tell these people to kick rocks. Worst part is they're also my landlords so any kind of action I take to have this fixed will probably be met with retaliation and me being kicked out of my apartment.

My work has been paying us in paper checks for months now. I've notice that regardless of what time I leave my check always seems the same. So today I did some math. I close a business at 7pm , which takes between 30-45 minutes. Turns out I've only been being paid until exactly 7 and have been cheated out of about $1,800. And I'm not the only one this has been done too. Not very happy. So, I'm going to have a little chat and give them a chance to cut me a check for what I am owed and if not, In reporting them somewhere. I'm not sure to who In would report this to yet, so I'll have tondo some research. The craziest part is management straight up admitted they've only been paying the time on the schedule when the shift ends and not the work done afterwards to close up the store.
