I refer anyone - who doubts the possibility - to the WW2 US firebombing of Japanese cities, or to the fate of Dresden. Once begun, the fires created their own weather. Bushfires create their own incendiary showers ahead of the front.

Thanks, yes, but I try not to follow too many of those on here because I tend to reflexively respond to them, like a doofus 🙂

There's over 300 million Twitter accounts, so many of which are incredibly informative, and that I've followed for years. But I'm in passive monitoring mode over there.

Why I still can't make Twitter my X just yet. I'd miss this sort of stuff.
