Last night I purposefully and willingly broke a 6 month Zero Alcohol experiment.

I feel like shit this morning.

Tried to tell my relative to buy Bitcoin again. I told him that it’s up big since the last time I recommended it to him. He told me I should sell and move on because something bad is going to happen with it. Then he said that gold is the only thing you can trust and that the internet might go down. He also said that the dollar is the only currency that isn’t backed by gold. Wut???

How can you close the knowledge gap without proper incentives? I can share books and podcasts but he won’t listen to them until the price pumps more. Everyone gets Bitcoin at the price they deserve.

They all want risk free rewards

I have a hypothesis that one of the biggest commonalities among current Nostr users is the ability to find signal and find others who are also good at finding signal.

It may be the most powerful skill because nobody, not you or me, can know about or be right about everything. Some of my favorite people have glaring holes in the models, especially if it’s in an area that’s outside of their wheelhouses. But I noticed that each of them is good at identifying people who also find signal and then continue to learn from them.

You probably weren’t browsing developer sites and stumbled upon the Nostr code, kudos if you did. No, you heard a podcast or heard from someone on Twitter or IRL about Nostr and decided that it seemed like signal. Now here you are, with other people who did the same thing, all compounding.

For that reason, I’m convinced that Nostr is currently the highest signal, fieriest crucible for ideas anywhere, either on the internet or in meatspace.

This is another good indicator at the state of the economy. The niceties are the first thing to go when ppl are struggling like they have never struggled before

This is how the Jews are so effective . They don’t play by the same rules of “morality” while expecting others to do so. If we all agree lying is bad, then the ppl that do lie have an advantage over those that don’t. Power laws

Take the feelings / emotions out of it, it’s a basic economic fact. Supply would decrease. Price would go up. I’ve tried to help save more Bitcoiners than anyone but that’s out of altruism in the early evangelization days, not out of my economic interests. Chaos exists regardless. This is a competition in all aspects . The altruism era is over.

Further elaborating on saylors point about bitcoin benefiting from chaos, Bitcoiners are incentivized for other Bitcoiners to die without inheritance plans causing more lost coins, making it more scarce.

It's not enough that we win, our enemies must die too 😂

That’ll be epic

I’m at a point in life in which I have stopped trying to make new connections. They all say the same things, do the same things, eat the same things… I mean more than half of them have no internal monologue with themselves. What’s the dang point anymore 🤷‍♂️
