The length isn't what makes it long-form, it's a kind 30023 instead of a kind 1, which gets formatted differently in various clients

Notifications are awful in coracle. Replies I think are pretty good, but you're right that navigating up and down a thread is very painful. The second is algorithmically figuring out a way to create a linear view of a thread.
