Currently re-reading Resistance Money by Bailey, Rettler, and Warmke. Three professors arguably taking an academic risk by promoting btc. On resisting censorship they write:

I am excited to begin using Nostr as my primary social media platform for all things bitcoin. I began studying bitcoin and blockchain as a master's student at SFU in Vancouver in 2017 and have not stopped since. For my PhD dissertation, I am investigating bitcoin discourse, adoption, and use cases in the context of its increasing popularity and mainstream acceptance. I have interviewed some incredibly intelligent, hardworking, and fascinating people in the space and I am excited to eventually share my findings with fellow bitcoiners.
