The beta will be launching later this month, and btw most fediverse accounts will work, not just Pixelfed 😉

nostr:npub1su4t3c2h2fl2ws6hfcnn5r7jdn87qvhvaafe5uv3hcwygxz3rjssf6a0dw I use a few eol chrome boxes for cheap self hosting projects. $20-$40 for a low powered mini computer that can easily upgraded to 16gb memory. Whenever I see articles calling RPi an inexpensive computing option I have to laugh because you can actually buy two or even three chrome boxes for the price of a RPi board, and that’s IF you can find one. Seriously there’s no good reason for google to end support for these devices, still good for browsing and email.
