I'm at a loss seeing employers move in that direction.
Do you know how good/bad are other things such as ventilation or HEPA filters?
nostr:npub1jwv28rhjeqjzxx4t9pk88la9935skfvpq6xzwkwks7mtxt270nnq9rjeju I am sure everything is as cheap as they could possibly get away with, meaning, there are zero protections.
I’m having a panic attack. My blood pressure is through the roof. I am so stressed out that I’m dizzy! 😵💫
My employer is telling me I can’t wear a mask anymore!?!?!
#DelRubioTriplets - ¿WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS?
🌈 💜 🌈
"I deleted the Twitter app last October and haven’t looked back. Yet I do mourn the severing of connections and relationships with many incredible people and colleagues I met during my tenure on the site.
However, I found it unconscionable to maintain a presence on a platform where white supremacy and hate are now promoted and even financially rewarded.
Since then, I have landed on Mastodon.
I have read think pieces stating Mastodon is “too difficult to learn” and “silos users away from others.” I’m not a tech guy, but that has not been my experience.
In fact, I very much enjoy my time on Mastodon (so far).
In the 15 years I’ve been active on social media — including Twitter — I’ve had more engagement on Mastodon in the last several months than I have ever had on any other social media platform.
For me, Mastodon being truly de-centralized and not owned by a corporation or individual is the selling point that won me over. The lack of ads and manipulation of content by an algorithm?
Priceless.
If you want to follow me on Mastodon, feel free to use this link and say hello: https://universeodon.com/@eosfpodcast"

I'm so sorry to hear this!
"Willie and O’Connor play the parts of Gabriel and Bush in their version, respectively, in terms of the lyrics. But tonally, emotionally, and spiritually, their roles are reversed. Willie sounds somber yet steady; when O’Connor first appears, she sounds impossibly fragile, as if her heart has just been broken. But as the song winds on, she finds her balance. The power, even defiance, returns to her voice. When she joins Willie for the bridge, you hear them realize that neither is alone, and together they’ll endure."

After I finished her audiobook, I had to listen to it again immediately, because I just so enjoy the feeling of #SinéadOConnor just chatting with me, her speaking voice and rhythm is so soothing. I love her speaking voice filling my house. Her singing voice is one thing, but her conversational tone in the audiobook is something else!
I can't recommend it enough!
...&, of course, it adds more depth to her music, understanding how the stories of her songs started in childhood, grew right alongside her.
