It does make me sad on a systemic level that people require personal impact to have empathy. If it's the other way round of course you would mention someone you know. But that's not everyone.

Well, colour me absolutely stunned. The speakers on the Apple 27in display are not only great, they're better than my existing DAC/soundbar/subwoofer setup.

Regardless of your opinion on AI - and mine is nuanced - surely we can agree that the Ghiblifier is indefensible. Miyazaki has been extremely vocal about his distaste for AI. Stepping on those toes to this degree is unambiguously childish and vicious.

I have no shame - admittedly probably less than I should have - about writing the core logic for a script, and getting AI to pretty it up. Wouldn't trrust it for a minute with the core functionality, but I'm more than happy to let it add visual bells and whistles.

Objectively good for security. But it will also promote browser lock-in; few will be using their password manager’s passkey support - if they have one. That’s an issue.
