a11y can be read as ‘ally’ for a fucking reason
This is what I mean when I say vibe coding isn’t always a bad thing. I had a CSV full of Linear tasks, but the Linear importer was losing the parent/child relationships and the project links.
So I got a LLM to write me some code to read the CSV, and send it to the Linear API instead.
I had a job that needed doing, I didn’t wanna waste time working on something which wasn’t the point, so I got a model to do it.
Job done, 15 minutes instead of an hour or two. Code then thrown away. The end.

An excellent DOCTOR WHO. Great couple of episodes. Last week's wasn't my favourite kind of episode, but incredibly creative and amazing work.
This week's is real DOCTOR WHO cosmic horror fare and *absolutely* right up my street.

I'm pretty invested in the Notion ecosystem, using Notion and Notion Calendar, and they've just rolled out Notion Mail which is absolutely superb. The killer feature is AI filters, letting you define your filters with natural language, and the model figures out where to put it and learns from future manual categorisation.
You can then optionally configure it to split the matching messages off from the inbox - they stay in the inbox as far as Gmail is concerned with a label applied, but are optionally moved to a separate section in Notion Mail.
It doesn't yet have the feature I would have thought would be obvious, which is passing an email into Notion proper, but I can't imagine it's not on the roadmap. I've prodded them about it, anyway.
Requires Gmail or Google Suite, but I think most of us use that. Don't think it requires you to use Notion.

The only negative thing I have to say about the Beano is Walter, but I’m inclined to suspect that they’ve changed his characterisation - I’ll check and see if he shows up later.
Flipping through the Beano, along the regulars like Dennis and Minnie, we have -
- A Black superspy
- A disabled woman scientist
- A Black woman in trans colours who interacts only with women
- An Indian / South Asian family
- A feature on the Indian woman who edits the Beano
- A feature drawing a little girl in her own story
You know, I'm pretty sure there are more women in this than men. How did we sleep on this?
