Nice article. A note about iOS support is that there is a third party app that works well: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/m%C3%B6bius-sync/id1539203216

I’ve been using it for a year or two and it works great. As far as I can tell, it is a basic window app that bundles the Syncthing binary, for better or for worse. So the experience is the same as on desktop which is a bit odd on iOS but it works as well as it does elsewhere. Synced files show up in the Files app and I recommend it despite the minor quirk.

I honestly cannot even remember how many times Proton have already had serious issues with their bridge. From hickups to major data loss that was reported by users, every couple of months some new issue popped up. Let alone the constant PITA that is compiling the bridge.
