This is very, very well written. Fiat reinforces cultural ambiguity and abstractions to what ought to be inherently, yet difficulty articulated, truths. Fiat is your life is an accident, it means nothing, there is no truth. Bitcoin is your life was made from intelligent design, with real purpose, and truth is derived from that. Hear, hear.
Haha I’d be happy to listen, but you responded to a post and said that it was scary. End of sentence. You didn’t elaborate. Just a simple sentence. And then you get offended because somebody critiqued your asinine comment on your blatantly obvious response to Odell’s post. If you don’t want to be judged for your words on a social media platform, be more explicit in thought. I used to be like you, but I learned to articulate my thoughts. You’ll realize how dumb you sound soon enough.
Thankfully, my vocabulary extends past “fuck” to start a sentence and I can explain your problems to you.
Thank you for the kind words. I’ve noticed that you’re not well received in the virtual Bitcoin space if you point out any issues among the community (i.e. Lightening Network has tons of flaws for scaling and suggest another project that fits the same mold as BTC, but scales-Kaspa). I love BTC. I buy it every week. But critical thinking is what led me here. It shouldn’t get thrown out the window once you arrive.
I use River as well and DCA weekly (BTC and Kaspa, BTC on River, obviously). We just closed on a house last month. I work 4-5 jobs and my wife stays home, so the mortgage company needed to interrogate all of my employers. They needed statements, paystubs, emails from supervisors, etc. But they never questioned my weekly allocations to BTC and KAS.
Haha I’m sure your comment has nothing to do with Odell’s post. Whatever you say man.
Deep fakes are a problem. No argument here. This is not a deep fake. And I said nothing of politics, simply referenced lies by specific media. I called it hyperbolic, which you just verified.
And you would be a moron for not critically analyzing the scenario and the details around it. Odell said it could start wars and that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.
So what if he didn’t? The executive branch lies all of the time. There’s a reason Putin wants Kamala to win. It’s a joke. Nobody would believe whatever he wrote blindly if you have half a brain. Do you watch CNN and MSNBC and think it’s real news? Do you think Biden is running the WH? Learn to think for yourself.
Then the WH would put out an official response (like they did for decades before Twitter) and Elon would ruin his credibility.
What I think is scarier is all of the people on this thread that lined up behind Odell to say how scary it is. Learn to think for yourselves. There is nothing scary about the man who owns Twitter making an account named America written in gold, quoting himself, citing the Washington Examiner. What if that account named America in gold said something provocative without citation? Would you just automatically believe that’s national policy or position? No. Get out of your ‘all things BTC religion’ and think for yourself.
100% BTC and all things BTC are a religion for him.
It’s the same reason no BTC maxi will even talk objectively about Kaspa. They are in a religion. NOSTR fits that religion, so it plays. Twitter/X doesn’t.
Agreed. This is the dumbest post I’ve ever read. World leaders will look at this and think “America” wrote it! Might could start a war!
It kills me that there are so many intelligent people on here, but they get in senseless echo chambers about stuff like this. Does anybody with half a brain watch CNN or MSNBC and think that’s real news? No. Nobody is going to look at this tweet (where he cited himself and the Washington Examiner) and think the “America” must have published this! Saying something like this could start a world war is asinine.
It’s scary if you believe CNN. Do you watch CNN or MSNBC and think, “man, how awesome or scary is this real news?”. No, because you know it’s not real news. It’s state run propaganda. Elon citing himself and the Washington Examiner under an American Twitter page is not scary. If he didn’t cite himself and the Washington Examiner, do you think Putin or Xi would look at this and think it’s the collective American position? No, that’s dumb.
It is not dangerous. It is hyperbolic, however. Nobody looks at this and thinks this the collective American position. Just like if you saw something saying “Iran release plans to nuke US”. You would go look for the name on that quote.
Haha hyperbolic much?
1.) He put Elon Musk prior to the quote
2.) He cited an article from Washington Examiner.
3.) Who owns America? Nobody sees that and thinks it’s an official corp announcing something that could incite a war. If you saw something online “Iran says I will destroy Florida” and it had the “official” Iran Handle, wouldn’t you look to see who from Iran is saying that? If not, you’re, proverbially, a moron.
I love NOSTR, but let’s not get carried away here.
What percent of the populous knows what Dodd-Frank is? 2%?
