I feel this is a future horror movie in the making!
On the day of my divorce, my ex and I went to an oyster bar to celebrate the ending of our chapter and to have one last meal together.
If you are ever visiting Boston, Neptune Oyster in the North End is a lovely, cozy spot to have a meal.
I say this because I was reading about Barbara Lynch, a massive name in Boston who has/had an oyster place. Reminded me of a memory. I thought it was there...it was Neptune.
This story is wild to me, being such a foodie and eating in restaurants all over the country.

you are right, i try to be very selective, because i get massive panic attacks sometimes with what people post so I can only do follows when I am comfortable that I will not cry everytime I see your new post. Since your whole wall is responses to me then I think i can handle following you. But don't be offended if I have to unfollow, I still read people's walls when I had enough sleep and not on my sensitive days. I am a baby sometimes.
This should be newbie 101

interesting perspective..i guess you can compare it to cars, you know how to drive it but do you know how to fix it?
I called out someone on a twitter space earlier for using “his mom” as a foil for a non-technical person who might struggle to understand self custody
this is something I’ve thought about quite a bit — i wrote up some longer thoughts on the overusage of “mom” as a know-nothing tech person 6y ago
tldr: i understand why it’s something people reach for natively but im not sure it’s a good idea to keep casting implicit shade on mother’s capacity for understanding (even if in your case, it’s a true statement)

i feel guilty now because i did this recently, but i was just speaking from my experience. my dad knows computers, my mom doesn't. Maybe the kids who all grew up with phones in their hands will change this. I grew up without internet, so we are the last wave.
