The famous T-Rex cactus in the desert of Arizona, United States.

This saguaro cactus that has grown in the shape of a T-Rex dinosaur is located next to the Superstition Mountains, just outside Phoenix, Arizona.

However, it is said that it is not easy to find if someone does not know its exact location as there are thousands of other cacti surrounding this particular one. Many hikers may just walk right past the T-Rex cactus without even noticing it!

Saguaro cactus can grow from 3 –16 m (10–52 ft) tall, and have an average lifespan of about 150-200 years, though, they have a slow growth.

It can take between 20 and 50 years for a saguaro to reach a height of 1 m (3 ft 3 in). The tallest saguaro ever recorded measured 78 ft tall, but unfortunately it was knocked down during a windstorm in 1986.

Wise words ma’am

"Just a reminder for people. This is what our Northern Spy apples look like grown with no sprays or pesticides, straight from the tree. They have water marks, bug bites, weird shapes and turn brown 5 minutes after you bit into it.

Unfortunately most people would not purchase these, but perfer the shiny perfect apple.

But my Granny always said...if the bugs eat it, then you know it's real 😀"

CUBE SHAPED WATERMELONS in JAPAN .Round watermelons are so last century. Case in point: Farmers in Japan have begun to ‘grow’ cube-shaped watermelons by inserting them into tempered glass squares while the fruit is still growing on the vine. Not only do they look cool, they take up less room in the fridge too and are easier to stack !

This is the vault at the end of the world where all the existing seeds on the planet are kept. It is located in the Svalbard archipelago, Norway, about 1,300 kilometers from the North Pole. Opened in 2008, this underground warehouse is designed to preserve 4.5 million seeds of crop plants from around the world, acting as insurance against the loss of genetic biodiversity caused by natural disasters, conflict and climate change. So, in case the world is ever destroyed and you are the only survivor, you know where to go.

The Korowai people in Indonesia live in tree houses that can be up to 45 meters (150 ft) high. They believe that living high above the ground can protect them from floods, wild animals, insects, and evil spirits. They also use the height advantage to spot enemies or intruders from afar.
