Peyote Cactus of Hallucination

The cactus grows in the driest habitats, sometimes even around a lot of stone. The flowers are very large and pink or white in color, resting on the crown of the cactus. Removing the crown of the cactus does not kill the cactus and the cactus will grow new crowns (also called Mescal heads). These heads, also called Peyote Buttons, are harvested and ingested for the strong hallucinogenic effects. Sometimes Peyotes can be found with multiple heads, as they have been cut off many times before. These heads are about 3-4 inches in diameter.
The effects are insane, crafting kaleidoscopic, super vivid and rich in colors visions. Hallucinations stretch beyond visual though, as hearing, feeling, taste and smell are all effected too. The intoxication effects begin usually with satisfying, pleasant experiences, panning into a period of intense calmness, relaxation, and laziness. Some people meditate at this point, others enjoy external stimulation. 
Wonder how this cruise ship moved to the top of this hill? The Sun Cruise Resort & Yacht, located on a cliff in Jeongdongjin, South Korea, is a hotel crafted to resemble a cruise ship. It spans 165 meters in length, stands 45 meters tall, and weighs 30,000 tons. Opened in 2002, the resort features 211 rooms, including both hotel and apartment styles, six restaurants, a revolving sky lounge, a nightclub, a karaoke bar, and a seawater pool.
Guests can enjoy the sensation of being on a cruise ship without the risk of motion sickness, thanks to the sound of crashing waves played through speakers around the hotel. The resort also boasts an observation area with a glass floor suspended over the sea, a park with sculptures, and various sporting facilities such as a netted golf range and a volleyball court.

2000-year-old marble thrones at the ancient theatre of Amphiareion of Oropos, Greece.
The Amphiareion at Oropos, sanctuary of the hero Amphiaraos, was greatly famed and frequented by pilgrims who went to seek oracular responses and healing.
The largest building in the sanctuary is a stoa (mid-4th century BC) which served as the enkoimeterion for the patients.
The sanctuary also contained a theatre. The theatre is dated to the 2nd century BCE by inscriptions and the seating area was likely composed of wooden seats on stone supports.
Five marble prohedria (seat of honor at the front of the seating area) were discovered placed around the orchestra.

Hoover Dam, located on the border of Nevada and Arizona, is an engineering marvel and a testament to human ingenuity. Constructed during the Great Depression, this colossal structure stands 726 feet tall and impounds Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States. Visitors can tour the dam, marvel at its Art Deco design, and appreciate the breathtaking views of the Colorado River and surrounding desert landscape. Hoover Dam remains a symbol of American innovation and determination.

The beekeeper forgot to put the frames in which the bees collect honey, and the bees built their own architecture from the honeycomb, which takes into account natural ventilation, so that the air can flow freely and maintain a stable temperature. This is the heart!🐝 
This is a picture taken directly above these camels in the desert of Saudi Arabia during sunset. It is considered one of the best pictures of the year by National Geographic. Look closely, the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black you see are just the shadows.

Welcome to our exploration of the Deepwater Flounder, by @gugunderwater ‼️Let’s take a closer look at its fascinating life cycle, starting with its unique larval stage.
At the larval stage, the Deepwater Flounder is almost transparent, a remarkable adaptation for survival in the vast ocean. This transparency helps the larvae avoid predators by making them nearly invisible in the water.
As the larvae grow, a fascinating transformation occurs. Initially, they have eyes on both sides of their head, but as they develop, one eye gradually migrates to the other side. This adaptation allows the adult flounder to lie flat on the ocean floor, blending seamlessly with its surroundings.
During this stage, they begin to change color to match their environment, enhancing their camouflage. They feed on small fish and crustaceans, using their flattened bodies to hide and ambush prey.
The Deepwater Flounder’s life cycle showcases the extraordinary adaptations that marine life has developed to thrive in the challenging conditions of the deep sea. 
The ocean, covering 71% of Earth’s surface, remains largely unexplored. Among its mysterious inhabitants is the wolf eel (Anarrhichthys ocellatus), a fish often mistaken for an eel due to its long, slender body. Despite this resemblance, it’s actually part of the wolffish family.
Known for its sharp teeth and powerful bite, the wolf eel preys on crabs and sea urchins. Despite their fierce appearance, these creatures are shy, hiding in rocky crevices and forming lifelong pairs.
We’ve explored less than 5% of the ocean, leaving much of its vast depths and unique creatures like the wolf eel still largely unknown.
