Standing majestically atop a rugged outcrop in the renowned Wadi Dhahr Valley of Yemen, Dar al-Hajar, also known as the Imam's Rock Palace, enchants every onlooker. Constructed in the 1930s by Imam Yahya as a luxurious summer hideaway, this stunning edifice seems to rise organically from the very stones that cradle it, enveloped by a lush, verdant oasis. Today, transformed into a captivating museum, it stands as one of Yemen's premier attractions, a mere 9-mile journey from the ancient city of Sanaa, a place steeped in rich history. The palace beckons travelers with its extraordinary fusion of breathtaking landscapes and compelling tales from the past.

There’s no doubt - adore the movement and the scramble engineered here.
It’s almost feels that they are searching for an escape, pushing and shoving to reposition themselves.

🦋 When Nature Paints a Masterpiece 🎨
This stunning image by Shelly Collins captures a truly magical moment in nature: A curious lizard stretches its body in an almost impossible arc, mesmerized by a vibrant butterfly fluttering nearby.
The contrast of colors and the perfect composition make this a true work of art.
If a Holly tree (Ilex aquifolium) finds its leaves are being nibbled by deer, it modifies its DNA to make them spiky when they regrow. So on taller Holly trees, the upper leaves (which are out of reach) have smooth edges, while the lower leaves are prickly.

Here it is, the very beginning of the mighty Mississippi River!! It flows out of Lake Itasca in Minnesota and begins its journy to the Gulf of Mexico. So cool to see this after seeing the Mississippi River in so many other spots. The water is very clean and on the warm side.
