The Corinth Canal in Greece is a remarkable feat of engineering that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, cutting through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth. Completed in 1893, this man-made waterway is approximately 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) long and only about 21 metres (69 ft) wide, making it one of the most difficult navigation routes for modern ships. The canal dramatically reduces ships' travel time by avoiding the long journey around the Peloponnese peninsula. Carved through sheer limestone walls that rise up to 90 metres (295 ft) high, the Corinth Canal is not only an important maritime passage but also a popular tourist attraction, offering spectacular views and thrilling experiences such as bungee jumping.

This 8,000-year-old rock carving from Val Camonica, Italy, shows intriguing humanoid figures with what appear to be halos around their heads, accompanied by lines that may depict rays of light. The figures, remarkably resembling men in spacesuits or old-school scuba gear, add to the mystery of these ancient petroglyphs. Found among many other carvings in the region, these depictions spark curiosity about what the ancient people were portraying. Whether symbolic, spiritual, or something else, these carvings continue to captivate and puzzle researchers.

Life becomes bearable only when one has come to terms with who one is, both in one's own eyes and in the eyes of the world. We all of us must come to terms with what and who we are, and recognize that this wisdom is not going to earn us any praise, that life is not going to pin a medal on us for recognizing and enduring our own vanity or egoism or baldness or our potbelly. No, the secret is that there's no reward and we have to endure our characters and our natures as best we can, because no amount of experience or insight is going to rectify our deficiencies, our self-regard, or our cupidity. We have to learn that our desires do not find any real echo in the world. We have to accept that the people we love do not love us, or not in the way we hope. We have to accept betrayal and disloyalty, and, hardest of all, that someone is finer than we are in character or intelligence. ~Sándor Márai

We have to work hard in this world for this house.

This looks like land before time. If you’re looking for something straight out of a fairytale, check out the "Gate of Heaven" on Tianmen Mountain, China. This massive natural arch, known as Tianmen Cave, sits around 5,000 feet above sea level, making it the highest of its kind in the world. The way sunlight streams through the opening gives the place a magical vibe, and it's easy to see why it's a must-visit for anyone exploring the region!

A huge humpback whale suddenly leaped out of the water near a boat, shocking the fishermen on board. The incident took place in the waters off the coast of California, USA.

The whale was estimated to be 40 feet long and weighed around 80,000 pounds. The fishermen were amazed by the sight and managed to capture the moment on camera.

According to a photographer named Douglas Croft, who captured a humpback whale breaching next to a fishing boat, the memorable moment occurred on April 27th, 2019 in California’s Monterey Bay.

Did you know that, humpback whales have a unique feeding technique:

Humpback whales use a feeding technique called bubble netting to catch their prey. They blow bubbles in a circular pattern around a school of fish, which creates a “net” of bubbles that traps the fish. The whales then swim up through the center of the bubble net with their mouths open, swallowing the fish as they go.

Some of what Australians usually encounter in their daily lives

Lop Nur, located in China, continues to be one of the most enigmatic regions globally. Referred to as the Forbidden Zone, this arid landscape encompasses ancient cities and tombs, obscured for centuries by shifting sands. Once a vibrant ecosystem nourished by the Tarim and Peacock Rivers, this desolate area now serves as a silent testament to both human history and the inexorable changes wrought by natural forces. The question arises: what secrets remain concealed beneath its windswept terrain?

The age of 25 to 30s isn't easy. You lose friends, you make mistakes, you fall, you fail, you realize things, you hit reality, you lose yourself but in the end you find yourself and you become stronger.

"And in the end, I believe that we don't need to do anything to be loved. We spend our lives trying to seem prettier, smarter. But I realized two things. Those who love us see us with their hearts and attribute qualities to us beyond beyond those we really have. And those who don't want to love us will never be satisfied with all our efforts. Yes, I really believe that it is important to leave our imperfections alone. They are precious to understand those who see us with the heart. "

This photo was taken by a vendor sitting on a sidewalk, and commented:

"This dog was sitting watching the customers who took food from me and gave me a currency note in exchange. After a while, he immediately got up and brought a piece of leaf, and looked at me with innocent and hopeful eyes. As if he wanted to eat something, in return, I fulfilled his wish."

This story is a perfect example of simplicity and innocence, where even an animal tries to understand human behavior.
