If by deflation you mean price movements, then I‘d say we could look at the PC/chip market.

Don’t know if we would call it optimal, but it’s a working market, still.

Even if prices drop ~50% every year or two, or computing power doubles every year or two for roughly the same price.

It’ll be a long journey to „fix“ this mindset.

„Don’t trust, verify“ is probably the shortest explanation of this, but not well understood. At least not lived by most.

Probably also the reason why there are much more employees than self employed.

Many want to be told what and how to do things and never question the status quo, even as they get older.

I don’t know if that did change over the years, or if it will ever change?

Some question the status quo, most don’t.

#Bitcoin will change the „business model“ of countries.

As soon as countries start to accumulate Bitcoin, the increase in purchasing power can change the „business model“ dramatically.

They will see surpluses, deficits.

Then, countries no longer rely on taxes and printing presses.

Countries can lower taxes to attract wealthy people und corporations.

They‘ll start competing for wealth and brain power.

People will benefit massively.

Wouldn’t it be great if this ended with a plot twist?
