Riding in private jets are not "private". Being the "pilot in command" as in flying yourself is the ultimate in private air travel experience.
One of the most liberating choices I've made in life was to invest in learning to fly a plane.. simply to avoid the soul sucking and dehumanising experience of commercial air travel.
People who "stay and fight" in toxic platforms enjoy the drama. They thrive in it. It's what they seek. They argue about their positions and opinions all day long.
There is a level of stupid that can't be reasoned with. Those are the same people.
One of my favourite canyons. Also the most difficult name to pronounce. ๐ฎ๐ธ

When I want to leave earth without really leaving earth. ๐ฎ๐ธ is the place to be. My home away from home.

Iโm not in Switzerland anymore.
Your PhD doesnโt equal trust.
I encounter academically accomplished people who make bad life decisions and never seem to learn. Slaves to their impulses and emotions. Slaves to their anxieties.
At that point, your collection of diplomas mean nothing to me.
I'm flying myself to Iceland. I'm still debating about Rwanda. It's over 3K nm in a plane that can comfortably fly a little over 1/3 of the distance at a time. ๐ It's going to take a couple of days to get there taking stops to account. What an adventure though.
I'm visiting friends in Iceland. I try to visit every year. It's also one of my favourite places. I've never been to Rwanda and I've always wanted to go. It's all leisure time.. I'm retired. ๐
Thank you. My first time in Rwanda. Should be interesting.
Iceland and then Rwanda.
That's my October.

Hmm, public beheadings.. savagery for savagery. Iโm in.
