Great podcast episode on how totalitarianism is being implemented worldwide, it's limitations, A.I., transhumanism, BRICS...

More and more people are waking up to what's going on.
Avoid this unless you want stomach paralysis and permanent diarrhea.
Okay... I can prevent others from read/write on my relay by only allowing certain npubs to do so, but how do I obfuscate my relay if I'm someplace like Brazil, who wants to shut me down (I'm not in Brazil, but using that as an example). I would like to be able to hide my relays from being visible at all.
Is something like relay.tools a step in the right direction?
So that's what puzzles me... just how do you keep a private relay private when everyone can see what relays you're running if you reply to a public conversation like this one?
Most Democrats are hardcore leftists, Bolshevik commies. Our government is full of them. Republicans are compromised, too, but it was easier for commies to take over the Democrat party.
I would be willing to try it regardless of battery consumption, if you give it a whirl. I'm using a personal relay from relay.tools exclusively for everything and get no notifications at all.
How does one set up a relay to host outside of the Start9 / Umbrel setup? Tor just doesn't do it for me. All the tutorials I'm finding are at least a year old and very complicated for someone like me who does not code for a living. Are there any up-to-date tutorials written for laypeople like myself?
They're controlled by globalists. It's obvious.
Globalists won't stop until they've stamped out all privacy and free speech.
I'm actually more concerned with censorship at the DNS level.
A good VPN will help. Like Mullvad, where you can subscribe anonymously. And a pseudonym. That should definitely help.
In my opinion, Tor is not viable to use if you want a good experience with Nostr. I'd love to be proven wrong someday, though.
I second using Graphene OS. Puts you in complete control. Pixel 7 Pros for my wife and me, and we love using them.
True... not gonna argue with that. But X is one of the only large platforms where free speech still exists. And that makes it worth supporting. At least while it's still available.
I understand the move, but X is necessary. Elon is on the side of freedom and X Premium is a great way to support freedom (even if Elon doesn't need our dollars). Nostr needs to attract more than just us Bitcoiners and be a place where multiple interests can be explored. Right now, nothing is better at that than X, no matter how much we love Nostr, it's not a replacement of X (but might be someday 🙂).
