This is our sole #macadamia nut tree. The original seed was sourced from Costa Rica. It started producing nuts about 3 years ago. (Planted more than a decade ago) We have many plans for it. But mostly as a source for rootstock seeds to graft better varieties.

In the brooder right now we have some recently hatched ducklings from rescued eggs that were rescued from a couple of nests that the Welsh Harlequin had in the field and we needed relocated. Of a total of 5, these two hatched partially in the incubator.

Their name are Juliette and Martha and are extremely healthy.

We found a local person with fertile Rhode Island Red eggs at a bargain. ($5/dozen) They should start hatching the first week of August. OG chickens are due for retirement.
