It’s intriguing to observe the types of memes shared online during times when others face potential turmoil. Many of these memes convey a mocking tone: ‘You made a decision with insufficient information; now suffer the consequences.’ This online behavior leads me to question the ongoing discussions about rekindling local communities. Can we truly foster a sense of community when the most vocal online proponents exhibit such dismissive and unsympathetic attitudes?
This is why I don’t like to tell people about this stuff.
