Teaching an 8-year old about money leads to them wanting to do chores for money. Fine. But what about the entirety of my childhood that I worked for free because a good family member contributes to their group? I had that talk this morning. I’m not sure it got through. We don’t exactly have a lot of chores anyway and my kiddo wants the autonomy to buy toys or in game stuff whenever he wants. I understand that want of course… there’s so much to explain and so little time in which to do it. And sometimes the order it’s explained in can cause issues later. 😤

This thing I am telling myself I want to do but never make time to, is probably not something I actually want to be doing. (Long list of random want to do/be things that I never can get myself to work on by always daydream about.)

I remember when you said web5 and all us nft enthusiasts felt like you didn’t understand what was going on. Now I think I maybe understand what you meant. Maybe.

Definitely not private if you use an immutable identity on it 😂😮‍💨

Starting homeschooling was only less of a fear to me than sending my kids to public school. It took a few weeks to realize I know everything they need to know for the next few years at least. Socializing is an issue though. I don’t have many friends and the ones with kids aren’t the ages of my kids. And the local home schoolers don’t believe atoms are real… yay.

I wish I knew how to hack random consumer electronics so I could hook this cheap Amazon keyboard up to those how to play piano apps for my daughter 🙃😅

When you hook a debit card up to custodial sats, each food order is a bitcoin pizza order 😮‍💨

I’m several hundred scans into photographs of my grandma with my immediate family. Every so often I think of something I want to ask her about one of the photos she was in with us. It’s weird to me that some surface level memory just forgets I can’t interact anymore. It’s very subtle. But it keeps popping up.

Is there an eBay of bitcoin?

It’s easy to see the end result of incremental change and assume some individual was a genius creator rather and a long and winding path of individuals making minor improvements over time that because industry standards or culture, and found their way cemented into the final result. So in a way we are the mutations between technology’s generations.

And then: *everyone missing the point* 😶‍🌫️

Been watching watch repair videos and cell phone repair videos. Technology caused a profession to evolve a new branch. Even a lot of the tools are similar or similar in purpose. Anyhow…
