Learning a lot about the interaction patterns and engagement on BlueSky and Nostr this week. Taking notes.
Engagement still seems low on bsky, vibes are good though. Nostr has better engagement but a bit of a monoculture. Bird app unchanged and mostly bad.
It helps when you ask people to share openly, I plan to do this more often
Nostr needs better dialogue and debate. “This thing I don’t like is dumb” is not a compelling level of discourse.
You may be right but it doesn’t make it clear how it’s bad for Bitcoin. How do Ordinals make Bitcoin worse?

Fast, final, and nearly free compared to traditional alternatives. It’s better money that has an actual relationship to the physical world as opposed to fiat.
I’m not seeing much being discussed here outside of Nostr. I may need to work harder to find new accounts and discussion topics

I’m spending 70% of my “social” time on the Bird app, 20% on bsky and 10% on Nostr. I will watch to see how this changes over the next month, they all have a different appeal. I really like the Nostr vibe but it’s very meta stlll.
