I thought most black people prospered more under Trump from purely financial perspective or did I miss something? (Not American)

I will just add one little thing. The comment on being white. I'd suggest dumping the colourist thing. It muddies stuff. We are tribal creatures and one has to consider that part of our nature a little, but to bring things down to colour of skin is to drive division. I mean that in all ways. If there is a particular racial or colour group with a tendency to certain characteristics, it's not surprising it becomes cliched or commented on. It is individual interaction that drives perception As someone who is white by skin colour and who suffered years of racist abuse by other white people from different ethnic origins, I find this whole skin colour obsession is becoming ridiculous. If everything simply gets labelled as racist according to skin colour, it's got the potential to reduce understanding of division and the reasons that cause it.

Some cultures in China used to have a tradition of identifying ones screaming tree during early teenage years. Then, throughout one’s life, one could go to the tree and scream if feeling any frustration to allow the release of tension.

For the sake of my ears, I am extremely grateful that this tradition did not continue into the modern world where printers exist

Yeah. Don’t get me wrong. Fucking idiot but stopped playing squash. Just better to make sure not to have to do the lesson that way!

Friend did that with Achilles tendon. It’s 6 month recovery. He freaking snapped it a second time within 2 weeks of cast coming off. Nice and slow and steady wins the race sometimes!

Out of curiosity, am I the only British #nostrich who gets Prodigy's outer space in his head after a while seeing all the ostrich images?

One has to accept it’s a hostile environment. We lost our dog we brought over with us and never found out what it was. Definitely a neurotoxin and it was awful. But she also had great fun here and a great life!

Hmm I had previously. Didnt this morning and now that I did, I find its there. Thankyou!

Any good recommendations to download #fountain APK for #graphene without using Google Play? Can't find

Hmm, been interested by Jeff Booth comments on property. After putting a reply on one of his posts, gotfg curious to run a really basic simple model to see if graphically demonstrates the point. Actually think it works reasonably although hyper rudimentary.

If someone were lucky enough to start with 1m USD and buy their home for 400k, a second home at 300k as investment, and the rest in BTC when it was 50k. Assuming 5% property value increase per year (didn't add income, I know), and BTC average 20% increase per year which is historically highly conservative, what does the portfolio look like after 10 years? In fiat terms, up from 1m to 2.634m but it btc denomination down from 20btc to 10.2. Maybe this kind of visual to show for orange pilling and explaining to change denominator? hmm

The series is great. Noble house ended up being my favourite. Great books!

I’m writing this because I keep getting asked to comment on Saylor/Saif video even though my position hasn’t changed.

The natural state of the free market is deflation which means all prices fall forever in Bitcoin (assuming it stays decentralized and secure)

Free market economies are more productive meaning faster deflation (or real wealth gains by falling prices)

That system is incompatible with an inflationary monetary system meaning one of those systems must fail.

Either:

1) A system based on truth, hope, and abundance for all 8 billion people on the planet driven by a free market economy and all prices fall relative to bitcoin forever. This means Bitcoin is used as a medium of exchange and freedom tech spreads to the world through lightning, Liquid, Fedimint, Cashu, etc.

OR

2) A control system. An extractive rent seeking system that is NOT the free market (similar to the one we have had for 5000 years that resets every 100 or so years through war) continues to centralize by having you believe price of bitcoin is going up in fiat which makes the surveillance state stronger. This eventually centralizes Bitcoin - custodians, media, regulation (funded from the same manipulation of money) where it is attacked from layer 2. (Similar to gold)

While these ideas may “seem” compatible in the short term because you want Bitcoin to go up in fiat. What it really means is that you are giving your energy and strength to the system centralizing the world by converting Bitcoin to Fiat….to then measure prices.

Quite simply - If Bitcoin is only a store of value, it fails as a store of value.

Ps - It won’t fail. #1 is inevitable in time because too many (and more each day) have seen behind the curtain and are determined to build path #1.

Many of you here - the people that inspire me every day. You make a difference with every word, thought and action.

Almost did that in all caps per nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx because it’s so important.

Referring to # 1 above…..There is no second best.

I have a little spreadsheet that every now and again I update. My net worth is at the bottom in bitcoin and in USD. I am basically 50-50 btc and property. As a result, when bitcoin goes up in fiat terms, my net worth goes up in USD and down in btc equivalent. I have a house cause it's where I live so not selling it for bitcoin but it's interesting to watch the paradigm play out in numbers so clearly

Agreed. It's a bitch. Have sometimes wondered how much of an impact computers had. So much easier to create more money with a keypad and enter key. Wonder if there is a correlation between CPU speed and house price inflation? 🙄🤔

exactly. My thing was simply work and put everything in to custodied gold for saving. It was the only option at the time really. At least there's an alternative. The pain being felt won't get better for a while and I also think governments likely to consider that some sort of wealth effect feeling will pacify so make mortgages easier which will then drive it all further until many countries start looking like Australia for real estate. I think we both come from same point of view, I am just talking from a perspective from the past. I was brought up in pretty poor relative poverty so I do get it, and I certainly feel for people, which is why I spend shit loads of time just trying to orange pill people and attempt to focus on the less well off parts of the community am in, but fuck me it's a lot of work with very low conversion rate so far.
