I guess the interesting people are who buy on exchange and then they want to move out.
Like:
1️⃣ Selling on p2p
2️⃣ Hodling
I assume (don't know), the number of people who buy on exchange and hodl in self-custody is bigger, then those who buy on exchange to sell on p2p market.
That is a great question. I would also like to know.
I bet they do. At least, hide the pain harold also knows that he become famous 😂
I wonder how people live that, that they are famous, because they become a meme 😂💜🦙
They are starting to make travel rule laws, that if you want to send your bitcoin out of exchanges, you will have to tell where or to whom you send. Also if you send bitcoin to an exchange, you have to explain where and from whom you bought it....
For people who stays on the exchange, this won't mean anything. But for those who buy on exchange and want to self-custody, it can be a problem.
For one, there are sellers on P2P market, that buy their bitcoin from exchanges. In a heavily restricted environment, I am not sure if these people would still keep buying there.
People who buy, keep on exchange, then sell there will not be bothered. For them nothing will change.
This happens now as well.
I am more curious if crypto exchanges will be more regulated, will that mean more people will use p2p solutions, causing bitcoin on exchanges getting out of circulation, causing less liquidity?
Because at the moment, the biggest bitcoin exchange volume seem to happen on exchanges.
I would say spending your own hard earnwd money is a basic right 🤷♂️💜🦙
I also don't like forced censorship.
Interesting concept! I would say this could be true to Nostr, but less likely to be true for company controlled social media.
They missed the "rob me please" text
Some testing will come in the next days, quite excited how it will work out. 🦙
True, I am also evaluating my options!
This is getting really interesting!

Then others might come
John Reese: Never understood why people put all their information on those [social networking] sites. Used to make our job a lot easier in the CIA.
Harold Finch: Of course. That's why I created them.
John Reese: You're telling me you invented online social networking, Finch?
Harold Finch: The Machine needed more information. People's social graph, their associations. The government had been trying to figure it out for years. Turns out most people were happy to volunteer it. Business wound up being quite profitable, too.
