Understanding something and believing in something are two totally different things. No one is disputing the verifiable properties that Bitcoin has. But just because something is verifiable does not automatically mean it will remain that way for infinity. Believing in something just means that you trust and have faith in it to succeed. Nothing is guaranteed so it's ironic that you would bring up comparisons to a cult because that's what guarantees conjure.

That's very presumptuous of you to assume I don't understand Bitcoin. All I am saying is that Bitcoin requires some belief because its success is not definitive. Unless you want to tell me straight out that it's impossible for the Bitcoin network to fail. I believe in Bitcoin because I know the odds of it failing are highly unlikely.

I laughed when I saw how many sats other people have compared to me 😩 I am still early in the game

But verifiable proof does not mean that Bitcoin's success is definitive. I mean, it is still possible for the price of Bitcoin to go to zero or the network falls victim to a 51% attack (however unlikely)

Lol. So, anything that someone believes in automatically turns into a religion, according to you 🤔
