Beware of the ides of March, and beware of being featured in China’s 3.15 consumer rights gala. It was an interesting night watching it and seeing where China is focusing its attention - especially on AI and financial lending.

My son has been practicing violin daily in exchange for 500 sats. He now has 250,000 sats and got his first award at school. He’s super proud, and that makes me happy he has learned what it takes.

I keep trying to tell the bank to let me help others stack sats. Maybe one day, but until that day, every job is a #bitcoin job if you stack sats.

Does anyone know someone at Tether? Would be happy to get any help getting their attention on an application I submitted.

I decided to delete all my existing content at X, Facebook, Reddit and LinkedIn. It was very interesting how painful they make this experience. Often, it isn’t even possible to use their API to delete due to rate limits or even just outright blocking those calls unless you pay exorbitant professional fees. I had to resort to JavaScript console scripts. I decided not to delete my accounts because people still want to get in touch.

When will Wallet of Satoshi return to the USA AppStore? What lightning wallet should I recommend to new people? #bitcoin

I’m getting a bug in 0.9.6 with lnbits using lnurl where I can’t send sats: invalid invoice. not a proper lightning request. Changing the amount fixes it…

I’ll try to reproduce in the newest version once I get TestFlight access

Type in a number to send “2”, click send, specify lnurl (ben@lightning.benchodroff.com), click “proceed”, click “confirm” - get error, change the amount to pay from “2” to any other number — and everything works.

I wish I could recover my ICQ password.

Looking forward to my parents visiting us in Shanghai this weekend. They’ve never visited before and it will be interesting to show them around town.

Happy to see the CN3791 MPPT has fixed the solar charging issues with my T114 #meshtastic node. The onboard solar charging circuit won’t cut it, but it’s all working great now with this simple $1 fix.

Sadly, my Meshtastic T114 solar node is drawing too much power and the onboard solar panel battery charger is not keeping up. I’m going to install a CN3791 MPPT 6V charger which supposedly has much higher charging efficiency than the onboard solar charger. Will see how this goes!

How are you liking the tdeck? Is the UI good? I just recommended a friend to get Meshtastic and he also picked up three. I’m using tbeam and techo, but may need a tdeck too.
