Its a bit better than using a single password, since that password gets stored on many server side databases with varying security. At least with your nsec, it never gets sent over the internet to a server. It stays on your computer. Still a bad idea to use it to log into everything though.
Why does it feel so disgusting to touch US dollar bills? I don't get the same feeling touching euros or other national currency.
It has chain pruning as well so running a full node is very easy and should stay easy over time. Im running a full node on my laptop just to test it out and its only using ~15gb despite supporting 1 block per second.
Does anyone here have an opinion on Kaspa? It seems like bitcoin, but with a 10 second confirmation time and much higher throughput. We need much higer transaction throughput than Bitcoin can provide if we want billions of people to break out of the fiat world.
I spent the last two days learning about photography. I'm finding astrophotography to be quite interesting since the result is so different from what you see with your eyes.

Are there any relays that are prevalent with Chinese users? I have seen a large Japanese community, but not Chinese so much. I'm guessing the Chinese have been shut out either by their government or by relay operators banning them because of the massive amount of Chinese spam.
Some very cool pictures from the blue methane flames as well
Congrats to Relativity Space for getting past max q with a 3d printed rocket. The second stage failed, so they haven't taken the medal for first methane rocket to orbit yet, but maybe their next launch will be the one.

Some tesla superchargers in the US are now open to other car brands. This is going to help EV adoption so much!
It's a slightly different kind of ⚡ than we're used to on nostr, but a welcome one.

Also git is already a decentralized protocol.
I really like the idea of picking a certain aggregator relay, like filter.nostr.wine or paid relays, to use as your global feed. It basically lets you pick your algorithm and moderation policies for what you want to see in global.
I hope clients will add the ability to choose which relays to use for global, while still allowing you to read from other relays.
Awesome! I was missing the early days when global was so active and not full of spam
Just joined some paid relays to try it out (nostr.wine and eden.nostr.land). Can anyone see this in global?
