Why are the new user and number of public keys generated so different? Is it verified users?

A post I wrote on April 1 about why I decided to spend more time on #nostr.
"Confronted by the uncertainty of the future and the clearly negative direction so many things are trending, I am going to do what I can to participate in and build the world I want to inhabit. The world I want my kids to live in."

Holy crap they let Christopher Rufo into the New York Times.
Good. I’m not a fan of the Times for many reasons, but I’m glad to see them hosting an opinion that I’m certain is very different from their own and their readers’. And they even promoted it in their daily email newsletter. #news #DEI
Bear 2 is a fantastic upgrade to an already fantastic writing app.

Evidence for Thinking Classrooms is weak from when it comes to student learning. But, I have seen the engagement increase with vertical whiteboards. I just don't think they should necessarily be used for teaching concepts. (They can be used in other ways, such as review problems, inquiry activities, and times when we're focusing on methods to solve problems students have already seen.)
The audiobook with pdf download of charts and graphs has been a good compromise imo.
Who do you think owns the most worldcoins and stands to profit the most from it pumping?
Ever seen Open Water? I watched the whole thing because we were in the theater. But it was awful.
