Ah okay nice! I hadnt considered physics, acoustics, temperature, etc. I was mainly thinking the sounds of manatees, Caribbean monk seals, the St. Croix Macaw, etc. We know what they sound like from other environments but they no longer exist in the Caribbean. I was just thinking of layering the tracks overtop each other but I know there's so much more that goes into sound engineering.
Hey just saw your post on my wall and saw your bio. I’m an archaeologist exploring the changing soundscape of the Caribbean that resulted from colonialism. Is it possible to recreate a nature soundscape based on animals that are now extinct?
