Now that Bottlepay is gone. Where is the next best place in the UK to buy BTC only? CoinCorner? Same fees (1%) but UX is not close.

I don't care if it's KYC, I'd rather mix than pay 10% premium.

So this Strike x Tether announcement is pretty significant.

Old way:

- Get bank account

- Get invoicing system Xero

- Get payment gateway Stripe

- Connect Xero to Stripe

- Issue invoice and receive card payments less fees

New way:

- Download Strike

- Issue LN invoice

- Get paid in USDt or BTC

The hours of red tape to get through is significant on the old way. In developing nations getting a bank account is near impossible let alone the other steps.

So with a $50 smart phone you can issue invoices to anywhere on earth and receive/make payments without a middle man in USD with asking permission. Probably nothing.
