My car's front assist (adaptive cruise control) sensor stopped working and cleaning did not help. So I decided to turn on longitudinal control (software ACC using camera) on my comma.ai device and holy shit! When I first tried it a few months ago it was almost unusable. Now I think I will not turn on the car's stock ACC again.

AI is all about LLMs now, but having a device that can add self driving capability to most modern cars and running open source firmware from github (I use sunnypilot) is beyond cool.

Experimental mode, E2E long control, is getting really good. Have been able to keep it on for most of my highway commute.

Never tried vision only ACC, wonder when it will be better than utilizing the stock radar.

This is the wallet? A software update is reloading the browser? There is no reverting versions because you disagree with the the new update, there is no verification before you load the new version (without special tooling). We just sorta hope the DNS server points to the IP its supposed to and that your webserver fingerprinting everyone's web browser isn't going to selectively rug pull.

I just thought this would be a file you download and then paste the file location into your web browser, I just assumed an expectation that a sandboxes browser like we have on f-droid that goes by that name would be the defacto suggestion for running this thing.

It was one thing to talk about web browser CVEs, but now we gotta talk about the web server getting a backdoor in it and selectively serving a different page based on fingerprinting information. You're killing me here!

I've mostly been using Amethyst on Android. The problem only happened during a fairly short period during the evening. I suspect it was more of a network overload problem than Amethyst.

But I might try doing some general internet searching to find the information. I just hope I can rediscover the nostr user because I want to follow them!😁
