Are there PS1/PS2 JRPGs worth doing a playthrough on using an emulator? I never got into JRPGs because I was into TTRPGs and I kind of want to do a retrospective on that genre.

I think that if anybody is going to come after us it's going to be those same cuckservatives. They sort of built an expectation that we'll come rushing to their defense because classically we have, and for the first time in a long time we just aren't. The Trump indictment fiasco is a great example of this. We matter of factly accept that this is a totalitarian state, and that Trump pissed that state off and he's going to pay for it. And that's that. We're supposed to be outraged yet we aren't. I think the left wing is having a hard time processing this in the first place and what's left of the mainstream right is about to expend its last points of political capital lashing out at what they perceive as a betrayal.
Watching conservatives drop their jaws as prosecutors brazenly engaging misconduct is getting kind of boring. When are they going to just understand that this system isn't legitimate and they're on the chopping block? When are they going to get it?
I think the best argument for the Linux FOSS sperg experience is that it’s A E S T H E T I C and makes you a 1337 h4x0r and shit. Everything we thought was cool when we were 12 is what is actually cool.
I often listen to music on YouTube but I don’t download it. Again, why bother? YouTube rarely takes down music because unlike people’s dumb wojak-pepe political screeds, it’s actual content.
If you talked to me about 5yrs ago, I was super down the private tracker rabbit hole. Like way, way down that rabbit hole. I was on basically all of them. However, when I came to my current home, I had to leave behind a bunch of hard disks, and ultimately just went inactive on all of them. So, they disabled my accounts as punishment. Part of what prompted me to stop giving a fuck and not rebuild my library was losing my invite privs on AnimeBytes due to a tree ban of someone like four levels removed from me. It was so unfair, it left a sour taste in my mouth. And it was at an inopportune time.
Why expend even the slightest bit of effort into piracy culture if this kind of thing is the end result? Might as well just go to live shows and buy the hardcopy of the CD.

For the past two or so years I just don't care about the Stallmanite conception of free software or any of that crap. I just care if the thing fucking works. And I'm willing to pay.
To be clear, I used to be super into hoarding pirated mp3s and flac files and blah blah blah. I used to be super concerned with which license software used. I would have scoffed at using a service like Spotify. But lately, I just can't bring myself to give a fuck anymore. I just wanted to work, I want it to be easy, I wanted to not have any weird hiccups that this FOSS is notorious for, and I'm willing to just fucking pay.
Maybe I'll reevaluate again soon. After all, I do have a history of really enjoying this kind of thing, but lately, I just haven't.

I maintain that interest-based/community-based instances are ideal. Let them self-govern. It’s literally how federation is supposed to work. Lots of little rinky dink microstates with relatively free movement between, and the recourse is not recognizing neighbors and exile, but that’s, like, it.
