I think it's not be because I'm living in Japan but did your video oversimplify about what governmental debt and the recession in Japan are?
For example, Japan's governmental debt does not contain whatever money unlike other countries with huge debts.
The birth rate was already extremely low even when Japan was in the era of desolation. To me the conclusion was falsely derived because of it.
